VOGS Fertility Masterclass 2026 — A Grand Confluence of Fertility Experts in Vapi

Vapi Obstetric & Gynaecological Society (VOGS), in joint association with the Gujarat Chapter of the Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction (GC-ISAR), successfully organised the VOGS Fertility Masterclass 2026 on Sunday, 14th June 2026, at Daffodils, Fortune Galaxy Park, Vapi. The conference brought together gynaecologists, fertility specialists, and embryologists from across the region, with Dr. Jatin Shah as special guest speaker.

The event opened with a welcome address by VOGS President Dr. Deepti Agarwal. The morning session covered IUI protocols, ultrasound monitoring of endometrium and follicles, ovarian stimulation for poor responders and PCOS, trigger tailoring, luteal phase support, thin endometrium, and recurrent implantation failure, presented by Dr. Jatin Shah, Dr. Mehul Damani, Dr. Vaibhav Kapadia, Dr. Jitendra Prajapati, Dr. R. G. Patel, and Dr. Dharam Shah.

The afternoon featured a panel on Recurrent Pregnancy Loss moderated by Dr. Ashish Kale and Dr. Prraful Doshi, followed by keynotes on embryo transfer strategies and PGT testing. Proceedings concluded with a reverse panel discussion on ART Law, moderated by Dr. Dharmesh Kapadiya and Dr. Mehul Sukhadiya, covering the legal framework governing assisted reproduction in India.

The day ended with a felicitation and award ceremony, quiz, and lucky draw hosted by Dr. Mukesh Patel.

Organisers reported strong attendance and enthusiastic participation, calling the masterclass a significant step in advancing reproductive medicine education across South Gujarat.

VOGS Installation Ceremony 2026–27 — A New Chapter Begins for Vapi Obstetric & Gynaecological Society

The Vapi Obstetric & Gynaecological Society (VOGS) held its Installation Ceremony for the year 2026-27 on Sunday, 12th April 2026, at Daffodils, Fortune Galaxy Park, Vapi. Dr. Priti Vyas presided as Installation Officer, formally inducting Dr. Deepti Agarwal as President, with Dr. Soumya Nadkarni as Secretary, Dr. Manpreet Patel as Joint Secretary, and Dr. Aditi Nadkarni as Treasurer for the new term.

The event opened with registration, breakfast, and lamp lighting, followed by an academic session featuring key clinical topics. Dr. Vaibhav Nadkarni spoke on classification and investigation of Abnormal Uterine Bleeding (AUB), Dr. Rekha Shrivastava covered its medical management, Dr. Priti Vyas addressed postmenopausal bleeding and endometrial hyperplasia, and Dr. Sejal Naik delivered the keynote on hysterectomy timing and surgical routes.

The programme proceeded with a farewell speech by outgoing president Dr. Sheetal Talekar, followed by the Secretary's Report from Dr. Deepika Singhvi and Treasurer's Report from Dr. Aditi Nadkarni. The formal installation ceremony was conducted by Dr. Priti Vyas, followed by an acceptance speech from Dr. Deepti Agarwal and a vote of thanks by Dr. Soumya Nadkarni.

Dr. Dharmesh Parekh was announced as President Elect, while the Core Committee and Advisory Board welcomed several senior members, including Dr. B. Ramdas, Dr. Vandana Khalasi, Dr. Asha Gandhi, and Dr. Asha Dixit, among others.

The ceremony concluded with lunch, marking the beginning of a new academic year for VOGS.

The Vapi Obstetric & Gynecological Society (VOGS), in collaboration with Meril Academy, Nadkarni Medical Training Academy, and IMA-Vapi, successfully organized an insightful “Symposium on Regenerative Medicine & Anti‑Aging” on 27th July 2025 at Sushruta Hall, Meril Academy, Vapi.

The event brought together leading experts and practitioners to explore cutting-edge therapies including stem cell applications, exosome technology, and innovations in sexual health and aesthetics. The program began with a welcome breakfast, followed by the inaugural ceremony led by Dr. Sheetal Talekar, President of VOGS (2025‑2026).

Key highlights included Dr. Aditi Tandon’s talk on regenerative medicine for stress urinary incontinence, Dr. Prabhu Mishra’s insights into stem cells in OBGYN, and Dr. Shefali Trasi Nerurkar’s session on new frontiers in facial aesthetics. Dr. Chandani Kharat addressed vaginal rejuvenation and sexual health, while Dr. Leroy Rebello conducted a live demonstration on exosome therapy, showcasing its transformative potential.

Vapi OBGYN Society hosts CME Workshop on First Trimester Fetal Heart & NIPS

The Vapi Obstetric & Gynecological Society (VOGS) organized a highly informative CME and live workshop on “First Trimester Fetal Heart & NIPS” on Sunday, 8th June 2025 at Fetal Vision, Times Square, Vapi. The event brought together leading experts and practicing obstetricians to discuss crucial aspects of early pregnancy fetal cardiac assessment and the role of Non-Invasive Prenatal Screening (NIPS).

The workshop commenced with a welcome and inauguration, followed by a series of engaging sessions. Dr. Girish Patel delivered key lectures including “How a Busy Obstetrician Should Look at the Fetal Heart”, “Doppler in Fetal Heart”, “Doppler in the First Trimester”, and practical guidance on insonating vessels in the third trimester. Live demonstrations on patients added hands-on value to the learning. Dr. Sheetal Sharda addressed advancements in NIPS, emphasizing its importance in early detection of chromosomal abnormalities.

The program, chaired by eminent specialists, provided participants with practical approaches and advanced techniques in fetal imaging and screening. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, followed by lunch, fostering further networking among attendees.
