The Vapi Obstetric & Gynaecological Society (VOGS) held its Installation Ceremony for the year 2026-27 on Sunday, 12th April 2026, at Daffodils, Fortune Galaxy Park, Vapi. Dr. Priti Vyas presided as Installation Officer, formally inducting Dr. Deepti Agarwal as President, with Dr. Soumya Nadkarni as Secretary, Dr. Manpreet Patel as Joint Secretary, and Dr. Aditi Nadkarni as Treasurer for the new term.

The event opened with registration, breakfast, and lamp lighting, followed by an academic session featuring key clinical topics. Dr. Vaibhav Nadkarni spoke on classification and investigation of Abnormal Uterine Bleeding (AUB), Dr. Rekha Shrivastava covered its medical management, Dr. Priti Vyas addressed postmenopausal bleeding and endometrial hyperplasia, and Dr. Sejal Naik delivered the keynote on hysterectomy timing and surgical routes.

The programme proceeded with a farewell speech by outgoing president Dr. Sheetal Talekar, followed by the Secretary's Report from Dr. Deepika Singhvi and Treasurer's Report from Dr. Aditi Nadkarni. The formal installation ceremony was conducted by Dr. Priti Vyas, followed by an acceptance speech from Dr. Deepti Agarwal and a vote of thanks by Dr. Soumya Nadkarni.

Dr. Dharmesh Parekh was announced as President Elect, while the Core Committee and Advisory Board welcomed several senior members, including Dr. B. Ramdas, Dr. Vandana Khalasi, Dr. Asha Gandhi, and Dr. Asha Dixit, among others.

The ceremony concluded with lunch, marking the beginning of a new academic year for VOGS.
